A chemical hazard is a type of occupational hazard causes by exposure to chemical in the workplace. Exposure to chemicals in the workplace can causes acute or long-term detrimental health effects.

  • follow new lable requirement
educate workers on effect of hazardous chemicals
  • beware of all sources of flammable gas
  • watch out for substances that can spark a fire
  • maintain epuipment to avoid a electrical hazard

3. List of personal protective equipment that must be provide to the students before they carried out the experiment.
  • First Aid Kit
  • Chemical Splash Googles ( eye protection )
  • Lap Apron
  • Gloves
  • Wear the Long Pants
  • Wear a Shoes or Boots
  • Wear Coat or Long Sleeve Shirts
  • Wear Face Mask

A physical hazard is an agent, factor or circumstance that can cause harm with or without contact. They can classified as type of occupational hazard or environment hazard. Physical Hazards include ergonomic hazard, radiation, heat and cold stress, vibration hazard and noise hazard

In addition to hearing damage,physical hazard can:
  • Create physical and psychological stress
  • Reduce productivity 
  • Interfere with communication and concentration 
  • Contribute to workplace accidents and injuries by making it difficult to hear warning signals


2. 5 solutions to reduce noise at the workplace according to Guidelines for Hazard Identification,Risk Assessment,Risk Control (HIRARC) by Department of Occupational Safety and Health

  • Place noisy processes in a separate part of the workplaces 
  • Use sound proofing materials to prevent sound reflecting 
  • Enclose noisy machinery
  • Build operators an enclosure to work in 
  • Eliminate excessive vibrations 
  • Do noisy processes at times when others are not around
